Arine Sports Club (ASC) was created by enthusiasts of sports in town in the year of 1947. They chose, Ibrahim Hanna Wakim, president for the club. During this period up to the official license date, George Abu Chaar and Hanna Girgis Wakim, became presidents, respectively.

To make this sports club official, the ASC, obtained a license from the Lebanese Ministry of Sports on February 18, 1954. It is a multi-sports club based in Miye ou Miye, Lebanon. The co-founders are: George Khoury Youssef Wakim (President), Girigi (a.k.a. Giris) Hanna Saikali, Tanous Joubran Wakim, and Nasri Youssef Wakim. The club promotes unity, health and sportsmanship among its athletes. The club competes in volleyball, basketball and indoor soccer (football) games.

ASC with the assistance of the Miye ou Miye Municipality sponsors annually, the following:

• Karmis Sports Festival starts every July and lasts for six days.
• Karmis Music Festival, starts after the sports festival and usually lasts for three day
